COVID-19 Protection Framework Procedures

Vaccination Pass Requirements

1. Vaccination requirements do not apply to people who hold an exemption

2. My Vaccine Passes ARE NOT required:

• At our BEACH STATION. For everyday services, we are open to everyone.

• For GROUP BOOKINGS. Groups must disclose whether they are fully vaccinated or not, and we will treat group bookings in accordance with the Protection Level we are in at the time.

3. My Vaccine Passes ARE required:

• To join our MAUAO SUP CLUB. All members must be fully vaccinated and My Vaccine Passes will be recorded for the duration of membership.

• For our SUP AWAY events. All attendees must present a My Vaccine Pass.

• At our INDOOR EVENTS, attendees must present a My Vaccine Pass.

4. All our staff are fully vaccinated and can present a My Vaccine Pass.

General Procedures

1. If you have cold, flu or COVID-19 symptoms, isolate immediately and call your doctor or Healthline on 0800 358 5453 for advice about a test. Information on symptoms and testing can be found at https://covid19.govt.nz.

2. All are encouraged to wear face masks during on-shore activities. For safety purposes, face masks must be removed during water-based activities.

3. Stay within our defined areas implemented in our workplace.

4. Maintain 1 metre distancing from those who are not in your cluster at our workplace.

5. Maintain good hygiene including handwashing and drying thoroughly, coughing and sneezing into your elbow.

6. Our equipment is disinfected after each use.

7. Shared surfaces are cleaned regularly.

8. Keep track of where you’ve been and who you've seen by contact tracing.

9. Get a booster dose if you are over 18 years and it has been 4 months since your last dose.

GREEN LEVEL PROCEDURES

In conjunction with “My Vaccine Pass Requirements” and “General Procedures”,

• We are open for business as normal with precautions in place.

• We are limited to 100 people of mixed vaccination status, and no limit to events and groups requiring My Vaccine Passes.

ORANGE LEVEL PROCEDURES

In conjunction with “My Vaccine Pass Requirements” and “General Procedures”,

• We are open for business with precautions in place.

• We are limited to groups of 50 people of mixed vaccination status, and no limit to events and groups requiring My Vaccine Passes.

• Face coverings are required for staff and customers during customer-facing activities, other than those performed on the water.

RED LEVEL PROCEDURES

In conjunction with “My Vaccine Pass Requirements” and “General Procedures”,

• We are open for some business activities with added precautions in place.

• We are limited to groups of 25 people of mixed vaccination status, and 100 people for events and groups requiring My Vaccine Passes.

• Face coverings are required for staff and customers during customer-facing activities, other than those performed on the water.
